Why we built an agency for an AI-native world

The ask for insights teams over the last decade has been pretty consistent: do more with less. More studies, faster turnaround, fewer resources, smaller budgets. Most teams found ways to manage — until the volume of decisions that needed research started outpacing what any team could reasonably deliver.

AI was supposed to fix that. And in some ways, it did — surveys got faster to build, reports got faster to generate, timelines got shorter. But the fundamental problem didn't go away. Teams were still buried. The new flashy AI outputs still needed reworking. Stakeholders still weren't getting what they needed to make a decision.

The reason is that speed was only half the problem. Nobody built AI around how research actually works. Good research isn't just a fast survey or interview guide — it's a methodology decision, a business context question, a judgment call about what the data is actually telling you. When you automate the execution but leave all of that to the researcher, you haven't done more with less. You've just moved the bottleneck.
