We’re thrilled to share that we’ve raised $16.1 million in Series A funding, led by GFT Ventures and Ashton Kutcher’s Sound Ventures, to scale our vision for Researcher-Driven AI.
At Knit, we believe the future of consumer research is faster, smarter, and more human than ever before. Today, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve raised $16.1 million in Series A funding, led by GFT Ventures and Ashton Kutcher’s Sound Ventures, with continued support from Silicon Road Ventures, Osage Ventures, Rise of the Rest, and a roster of notable angels including David Kirk (former Chief Scientist at NVIDIA) and Gokul Rajaram (founding partner of Marathon Management).
This funding is more than a milestone—it’s a launchpad for our mission: to empower modern research teams with report-ready insights at the speed of AI, without sacrificing the depth and rigor that drives confident decisions.
Traditional research can be slow, expensive, and resource-heavy, leaving teams struggling to keep up with the pace of modern decision-making. Meanwhile, new AI tools often promise speed but fall short on delivering true, contextual insight. Knit bridges that gap.
Our human + AI platform enables enterprise teams to:
As Aneesh Dhawan, Co-Founder and CEO of Knit, puts it:
"Today's enterprise researchers are being asked to do more with less. Knit empowers them to deliver fast, cost-efficient insights without sacrificing quality or control."
Every Knit project combines the expertise of our in-house researchers with the speed and structure of AI. We embed your team’s unique goals and research style into our platform, enabling outputs that feel tailored, actionable, and instantly useful—whether for rapid concept testing, strategic segmentation, or high-stakes decision-making.
Our Series A comes on the heels of 5X year-over-year growth and adoption by over 60 enterprise brands, including Amazon, NASCAR, Overtime, and Mars Wrigley.
As Jeff Herbst, Founding Managing Partner at GFT Ventures, puts it:
"Enterprise research is a massive market that ripe for AI disruption. Knit's technology truly meets the needs of modern research teams and positions them to lead the new era of enterprise insights."
Our investors, including Sound Ventures, who have also backed OpenAI and Anthropic, recognize that the next wave of AI innovation will not replace human expertise—it will amplify it. As Alexandra Burbey, Investor at Sound Ventures, said:
"Knit stands out by keeping human insight at the center, redefining how brands understand their customers."
And for our customers, the results speak for themselves. Brooks Deaton, VP of Data & Insights at NASCAR, shared:
"We've always wanted to scale our research efforts, but doing that without losing control over quality or consistency felt impossible. Until Knit. Now we can run more studies, explore more ideas, and support more teams across the org, all without adding headcount."
With this new capital, we’re accelerating our roadmap to expand AI-powered capabilities, grow our go-to-market and research teams, and enhance international research support.
Our goal is simple: to ensure that every enterprise team can turn research into a competitive advantage—running more studies, uncovering sharper insights, and making bigger impacts, faster.
We’re just getting started. 🚀
